Biking and Walking
tours in Greece
If taking a siesta on a picturesque
beach on an island in the Aegean or the Ionian isn’t just the
thing for you then, grab a bike and hit the roads of Hellas. If
this isn’t enough and you still want more you could book
excursions that combine small-boat cruising and cycling. Each
day, you can charter a boat and sail around the scenic coastal
beaches, or you join a guided bike tour past villages, wineries,
monasteries, and palaces around the route. Exploring Greece by
bike or walking is the perfect way to explore back roads and
blend with locals in town and country.
The south west corner of Crete
is the most remote and unspoilt region. It’s composed of
magnificent coastal paths, rocky coves, deserted sandy beaches
spectacular white mountains , remarkable sunsets, Saracen
fortresses, a multitude of wild flowers and rare birds .This
could be a walking or a biking tour. Guests (tourists) bring a
certain uniqueness to the region and everyone wants to talk to
them. As a matter of fact, if you pass a cheese farm you will be
able to sample some of their special jellied cheese.
Samos –
“Emerald of the Aegean” Samos lies in the clear waters of the
Eastern Aegean, just one mile from of the coast of Turkey. This
walking holiday will take you into a different time. You will
walk through vineyard terraces, olive groves and citrus
orchards, crystal clear seas, deserted beaches, tiny harbours,
Byzantine churches, hilltop villages and ruined temples. The
natural beauty of Samos that has awestruck it’s guests for
thousands of years is still possible to experience today.
Peloponnese- a
relaxed walking holiday that allows you to explore the ancient
fortress city of Mycenae, the perfect theatre at Epidavros and
evocative Olympia – the home of the Olympic games for 1000
years. In Ancient Corint, Roman mosaics contrast with later
Byzantine ruins at Mystra and, in the valleys of Arcadia, we
uncover treasures like the Temple of Apollo at Vassae that few
foreign tourists see. Besides walking through ancient
civilizations we will also expore the vibrant countryside of
Peloponnese, a fragrant landscape of orange trees, olive groves,
wild lavender, tulips and figs.

long smooth ascents and fast descents.

have the opportunity to get acquainted with its people, their
traditions and ways of living as they will be your hosts in the
hotels and guest houses where you will spend the nights.
